Spirit is complete, perfect, causeless, eternal, without qualities. It is only known through the Soul's evolution toward Spirit which only knows oneness. “You” cannot be enlightened because in the state of enlightenment, “you” ceases to exist.
As you detach from the personal, Soul is aware of itself and merges into the emptiness of Spirit. Emptiness is also fullness or consciousness looking through you and everything in this moment. What is is simply what is, beyond words. It is a state of being, pure energy.
Discover through your own heart, the nature of spirit. It speaks through direct experience. You find this in your own way. Listening to Spirit is like being aware of intuition and knowing that the real you is only ever inspired by love and never motivated by fear. Know that the mind is missing what is real, pure and distanceless. What is real cannot die.
Quotes about Spirituality
A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada
"Just try to learn the truth by approaching a spiritual master. Inquire from him submissively and render service unto him. The self-realized soul can impart knowledge unto you because he has seen the truth."
"The first "station of separation" corresponds to the state of the ordinary man who perceives the universe as distinct from God. Starting from here, the initiatic itinerary leads the being first to extinction in the divine Unity, which abolishes all perception of created things. But spiritual realization, if it is complete, arrives afterwards at the "second station of separation" where the being perceives simultaneously the one in the multiple and the multiple in the one."
"Inherent in the impulse to be free, is insecurity. The impulse to be free comes from outside of the mind, and because of this, it makes the mind feel very insecure. Most spiritual seekers move away from this insecurity by seeking and striving for a distant spiritual goal. That’s how they avoid feeling insecure."
"The ego tells you to fill space. Your spirit tells you to let space fill you."
“By having a reverence for life, we enter into a spiritual relation with the world By practicing reverence for life we become good, deep, and alive.”

We do not need more knowledge, we need more character. We do not need more law, we need more religion. We do not need more of the things that are seen, we need more of the things that are unseen."
"Science is not only compatible with spirituality; it is a profound source of spirituality. When we recognize our place in an immensity of light-years and in the passage of ages, when we grasp the intricacy, beauty, and subtlety of life, then that soaring feeling, that sense of elation and humility combined, is surely spiritual."
Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche
"Walking the spiritual path properly is a very subtle process; it is not something to jump into naively. There are numerous sidetracks which leades to a distorted, ego-centered version of spirituality; we can deceive ourselves into thinking we are developing spiritually when instead we are strengthening our egocentricity through spiritual techniques. This fundamental distortion may be referred to as spiritual materialism"
"Spiritual evolution occurs as the result of removing obstacles and not actually acquiring anything new. Devotion enables surrenders of the mind's vanities and cherished illusions so that it progressively becomes more free and more open to the light of Truth."

"If you remember nothing else, always remember this one great secret of spiritual practice: we don't have to feel any particular way. We don't have to have special experiences, nor do we have to be any particular way. With whatever arises, whether it's pleasing or not, try to remember that all we can do is experience and work with whatever our life is right now. No matter what life is and no matter how we feel about it, all that matters in practice is whether we can honestly acknowledge what is going on, and then stay present with the physical experience of that moment."
"I Am prior to beingness, prior to consciousness, and even prior to non-beingness. "...visions are messages from the Great Spirit, each for a different purpose in life. Consequently, one person's vision may not be that of another. To have a vision, one must be prepared to receive it, and when it comes, to accept it. Thus when these inner urges become reality, only then can visions be fulfilled. The spiritual side of life knows everyone's heart and who to trust. How could a vision ever be given to someone to harbor if that person could not be trusted to carry it out. The message is simple: commitment precedes vision."

Wisdom is alive only as long as it is lived, understanding is liberating only as long as it is applied."
"Evolution is the development of the energy of the universe in such a way that it has an increasing ability to consciously control itself and the universe around it. "Keep close to Nature's heart. Break clear away, once in awhile, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean."
"For too long, we have believed that the divine is outside us. This belief has strained our longing disastrously. This is so lonely since it is human longing that makes us holy. The most beautiful thing about us is our longing; this longing is spiritual and has great depth and wisdom. If you focus your longing on a faraway divinity, you put an unfair strain on your longing. Thus it often happens that the longing reaches out towards the distant divine, but, because it over-strains itself, it bends back to become cynicism, emptiness or negativity. This can destroy your sensibility. Yet we do not need to put any strain on our longing. If we believe that the body is in the soul and the soul is divine ground, then the presence of the divine is completely here, close with us."

"Spirituality exists wherever we struggle with the issue of how our lives fit into the greater cosmic scheme of things. This is true even when our questions never give way to specific answers or give rise to specific practices such as prayer or meditation. We encounter spiritual issues every time we wonder where the universe comes from, why we are here, or what happens when we die. We also become spiritual when we become moved by values such as beauty, love, or creativity that seem to reveal a meaning or power beyond our visible world. An idea or practice is "spiritual" when it reveals our personal desire to establish a felt-relationship with the deepest meanings or powers governing life."

Now bearing witness means what? It means to stand aside and observe, become aware, and examine: “Yes this is there. That is there. This is happening. That is going on.” This is very important because it lays the foundation for the actual inner spiritual work that the meditation will provoke. Meditation is the foundation for deeper spiritual evolution."
